GOLD FILLED

It's an actual layer of gold-pressure bonded to another metal. Gold filled is not to be confused with gold plating as filled literally has 100% more gold than gold plating. Gold filled is much more valuable and tarnish resistant. The product is easy to care for and will usually maintain its golden shine for a lifetime.

GOLD PLATED

A base metal, here usually brass, covered with a thin layer of gold.

GOLD FILLED

You can wear these pieces everyday for any activities! Shower, ocean, pool… its gold won’t fade!
To clean your jewelry and bring its original shine, gently wipe it with a jewelry polishing cloth, or clean it with mild soap and water.

GOLD PLATED

These pieces are naturally going to fade. The rate of wear depends on care and body chemistry. To extend the life of your gold plated jewelry, remove when showering, applying lotions or perfumes, or working out. Do not use chemical jewelry cleansers or polishing cloths on gold plated jewelry. You can wash them in mild soap and water but dry it well once you’re done.

When they're not being worn, store your jewelry away neatly in a box or your WILDBIRDS pouch!
